Participation in Community, Social, and Civic Activities (Community Participation)
Allied Healthcare Services Australia’s Participation in Community, Social, and Civic Activities is a service that focuses on supporting participants to actively be involved in everyday community and social activities.
Activities under this service include but not limited to:
- Social, community, or civic events;
- Attending a local sports club;
- Joining a social club, or participating in cultural or community festivals.
The aim of this service is to support the participant in regularly engaging in social activities to create a sense of belonging. It aims to foster a sense of inclusion and connection within the participant’s local community through regular activities, events, and group participation.
At Allied Healthcare Services Australia, we look to integrate participants into the community by supporting their various interests with social, civic, or recreational activities. This service is beneficial for participants who may be socially isolated or want to increase their community presence in familiar, structured settings.
